the funerary stele has in the upper register a rosette framed by a crown of leaves tied with two ribbons;
Inscription:
D (is) M (anibus) / Ulp (ius) Vitalio / vix (it) an (nis) XVI [I?] / Fab (ius) Hatius / an (norum) L… X / Valentina / tit (u) l (um)? fetet Literary translation: Gods Mani, Ulpius Vitalio lived 16 years, Fabius Hatius 50 years (and something?), Valentina made the inscription (monument)

the Roman camp at Mehadia, reused to block the northern gate;

remarkable use of the word fetet (often found in popular Latin), sec. III p.Chr.
