the piece represents only the inscribed front part of the monument, the quadrilateral border was shaved when the stone was reused as a construction material in the modern era;

Place of discovery:
To Quintus Marcius Turbo Fronto Publicius Severus prefect of the praetorium (commander of the bodyguard) of the emperor Caesar Aelius Traianus Hadrianus Augustus, father of the homeland Colonia Ulpia Traiana Augusta Dacica Sarmizegetusa (puts this monument).
Observations, dating:
the famous character of equestrian rank (also mentioned in the official chronicle Historia Augusta) is sent to Dacia, at the beginning of the reign of Emperor Hadrian, at the head of a fighting vexillation to restore the situation in the province following the revolt triggered by the death of Emperor Trajan, 117-118 . The honorary inscription is placed by the management of the main urban center of the province of Dacia, the colony Ulpia Traiana Augusta Dacica Sarmizegetusa as a thank you to its savior and dates from the years 118-120 AD;
