Description:
from the fragmentary sarcophagus pediment, today reconstituted, 5 pieces have been preserved, especially from the right edge where there is also a relief with Attis (mostly mutilated human figure).
Inscription:
[D (is) M (anibus)?] / Publi Aeli Ulpi vet (erani) ex dec (urione) / hanc sedem lungo placuit sacrae labori / hanc requiem fessos tandem qua conderet artus / Ulpius emeritis longaevi muneris annis / ipse suo curam / titulo dedit ipse sepulcri / arbiter hospitium membris fatoque paravit finally, Ulpius, after the end of his long years of service under arms, (5) He took care of the slab and the tomb himself, making his bones a dwelling as his master.

in the ruins of the medieval keep from Turnu Ruieni, near Caransebeș;

has versified text (belongs to the rare and valuable category of Latin carmine inscriptions), 2nd century AD;
